WCAHS appreciates your efforts, patience, love, and concern for the pet(s) that are placed in your care. Fostering does not guarantee placement by adoption. Fostering is an opportunity to learn more about the pet so it can be more appropriately placed or give the pet a "break" from the stressful shelter environment.

No matter what the outcome, you can take pride in knowing that you made a difference in this pet's life! While in your care, the information you learn and provide is extremely beneficial in placing this pet in the most compatible home possible and reduce the chance of being returned to the shelter. With the large number of pets coming into the shelter, you not only relieve the stresses of the pet, but you also relieve the stress off the shelter staff that try to provide the best care possible for all the pets. WCAHS sincerely thanks you for opening up your heart and home to our pets in need.

Sincerely,
WCAHS Staff & Board <3
